SPX EUROPEAN AWARDS 2025
Shared Patient eXperience aims to bring together international organisations, healthcare institutions and companies that want to improve and share their experience with patients.
For this 5th edition, the SPX European Awards 2025 will recognise initiatives that significantly improve the patient experience within an organisation. Applications are open to all healthcare sectors, public or private through 3 categories:
- Improving the patient experience in an emergency situation
- Taking into account patient experience in the communication process
- Patient experience as a driver of innovation
CALENDAR
PHASE 1 | Call for Projects
- 15 December 2024: Final submission deadline
PHASE 2 | Preselection and Public Vote
- January 2025: A first jury will shortlist a total of 12 initiatives maximum, 4 per category (see rules for selection criteria). Shortlisted candidates will be contacted shortly after and given instructions to produce a video about their initiative.
- March 2025: Videos of shortlisted initiatives will be made public on SPX’s website along with a voting form. During this phase, finalists are encouraged to share their video as much as possible as the initiative that receives the most votes will win the ‘Public Vote’ prize.
PHASE 3 | Final Selection and Winners’ Announcement
- April 2025: The final selection will be made by a second jury composed of professionals, who will follow a strict selection grid that takes into account certain aspects such as pragmatism, interdisciplinarity, openness to cultural change, ease of adoption and managerial support, openness to cultural change, ease of adoption and managerial support. The winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony whose date and location will be announced soon.
PRIZES
A total of 4 prizes will be awarded for the SPX European Awards 2025: one prize per category as as well as an additional prize for the initiative, among the non-winning finalists, that receives the most votes during the Public Vote phase. The 4 winners will receive:
- Nominative trophy.
- Entry in the Hall of Fame on the SPX website.
- Publication in the SPX European Awards Guide.
- Non-SPX member institutions: free SPX membership for the current year and 30% discount for membership the following year (including 2 free registrations for the international colloquium and participation in a session of communications).
- Institutions already members of SPX: free membership for the following year.
- Companies: free SPX partnership for the current year (including 2 free registrations for the international colloquium and participation in a session of communications).
- Extensive communication via social media and SPX activities.
- Speaker at a SPX Talk, in english or french session.
- Interview as a virtual content, shared with all of our members and SPX community.
The 8 finalists who haven’t won will also be awarded the following prizes:
- Entry in the Hall of Fame on the SPX website.
- Publication in the SPX European Awards Guide.
- Non-member institutions: free SPX membership for the current year and 10% discount for membership the following year.
- Institutions that are already SPX members: 20% discount on membership for the following year.
- Companies: 20% discount on a company pack for the international conference (including participation in a conference paper) and 2 individual memberships will be offered.
- If not a member, membership with 20% discount
- Extensive communication via social networks and SPX activities.
- Speaker at an SPX Talk
